Fourteen young offenders at Her Majesty's Young Offender Institution (HM YOI) Polmont in Scotland voluntarily participated in this ten-week study. Participants were divided into three groups. Her Majesty's Young Offenders Institution Polmont is the largest of its kind in Scotland. HMP Polmont first opened as a Borstal in in the buildings of the former Blairlodge Academy.
